Nick Hunt

Originally from Richmond CA, Nick came to Arcata in 2008 and began his apprenticeship under Brian Kaneko at True Nature Tattoo in 2013.

He has a deep respect for the history and culture of tattooing and holds it very close to his heart. 

Through his professionalism, respect, and honest communication, he strives to create a truly positive experience for those who get tattooed by him. He enjoys creating Western traditional, Japanese traditional, and fine-line black-and-grey work. He also explores these themes through his passion for painting. Always willing to work with his clientele to make the best tattoo for them, no project is too big or small. 

Nick also periodically travels to San Francisco to work for Junko Shimada at Diamond Club Tattoo.
